Policies for Business to Business transactions

TERM

  • $5.00 SVC charge for all orders under $25.00 minimum order, except for parts orders.
  • A charge of 1.5% per month will be added to a balance due of 31 days or more.
  • Due to increased bank charges, $30.00 will be charged for each returned check.
  • We accept Discover, MasterCard, Visa and American Express.

RETURN GOODS

  • All returns must be authorized by our customer service representatives.
  • No credit will be issued for unauthorized returns.
  • The product must be in salable**
  • No credit will be given for product in unsalable condition.
  • Requests for returns must be in the same quantity as the selling unit.               

The following policies apply

  • Return Good Authorization (RGA) requested within 30 days will be assessed a re-stocking fee of 20%.                             
  • RGA requested after 30 days, and up to 90, will be assessed a re-stocking fee of 25%.
  • RGA requested after 90 days will not be considered for return.
  • Returns on Special Order (SPOR) items (non-stock items) will not be accepted.
  • Product with manufacturing defects will be replaced by Essential Medical Supply upon inspection.
  • Dealers are responsible for all freight charges on returns except merchandise shipped in error. Merchandise must be returned via a traceable carrier (i.e. UPS, Federal Express, etc.).
  • To speed up your request for a RGA, we request that you have the invoice number and date of the purchase.

** Product considered in salable condition is clean, free of any markings including dealer price stickers, unopened, unused, undamaged, in its original packaging, and can be sold as is. Anything shopworn, soiled, marked, or past the expiration date is considered unsalable and credit will not be issued.

FREIGHT POLICY                    

All products sold by Essential Medical Supply Inc. are eligible for free or reduced freight when shipped to a single location within the continental U.S. Freight charges are based on actual charges from the carrier.

·     Orders less than $600.00                                                      FOB nearest warehouse

·     Orders from $600.00 to $999.99                                          50% off freight

·      For orders over $1000.00                                                      Free freight

                            

For any order not shipped free or reduced freight, Essential will always choose the most cost effective method to keep freight charges as low as possible.

 

when your shipment arrives

by ups or FEDEX:                      

If your shipment is being delivered by UPS or FEDEX , the driver will bring the merchandise inside. Simply sign for the number of boxes and if there is any damage, call one of our customer service representatives at 800-826-8423 to resolve the problem.

 

BY TRUCK:

In the case of a truck delivery, the driver will normally not unload the merchandise and will require you to take merchandise from the truck inside (unless inside delivery was requested when the order was placed). The following instructions are provided to assist you in receiving your shipment correctly.

          Examine the carton closely on all six sides. If the carton is damaged, you do have the right to open it to inspect contents (ICC Regulation 120).


BACKORDER POLICY

Occasionally, some items may be out of stock. If an item is not available for shipment, it will be placed on backorder as long as the backordered item(s) total $25 or more. Backordered items totaling less than $25 will be cancelled. Both backordered and cancelled items will be marked on your packing slip and invoice.

 

Essential Medical Supply, Inc.® will be responsible for freight charges on backorders if the original order was shipped free. If you do not wish to pay additional freight charges on backorders, please discuss with your customer service representative when placing your order to confirm item availability.

 

DROP SHIP POLICY

Customers may request drop shipments for standard selling quantities. An additional $5 drop ship fee will be added to the invoice in addition to the actual freight charge.

 

ADDRESS CORRECTIONS

It is the responsibility of the dealer to make sure all "Ship To" addresses given to Essential Medical Supply are correct. If an address correction or reconsignment is required, there will be a $18 per incident charge.
